Tacos 1986

  • A Los Angeles institution since 2018, Tacos 1986 has built a devoted following by elevating the traditional Tijuana-style taco with hand-made corn tortillas, fresh ingredients, and bold flavors. The new Summerlin location will stay true to its roots with a standing-room-only, counter service layout, recreating the sights, sounds, and aromas of a classic L.A. street-taco stand.
  • A humble and incredibly flavorful menu, Tacos 1986 is built on a combination of grilled meat layered in handmade corn tortillas, fresh onion, cilantro, guacamole, and salsa. Guests can choose between flame-grilled Carne Asada and Pollo Asado, thinly sliced Adobada pork cooked on a traditional trompo, and the famous Hongo Mushroom Vegan Tacos. Tacos 1986 will serve its full lineup of taco styles, including its signature Perrones, featuring a made-in-house flour tortilla, melted cheese and your choice of meat topped with pinto beans, Mulitas, a hybrid of the taco and quesadilla, Vampiros, a mix between a tostada and quesadilla – Tacos 1986’s version of a Crunchy Taco, and delicious Quesadillas.

For The Win

  • A Southern California staple since 2020, For The Win has earned a devoted fanbase through its uncompromising focus on quality, simplicity, and craftsmanship. The brand’s signature smash burger features a high-quality patty smashed thin with grilled onions, topped with pickles and the restaurant’s signature fry sauce, all served on a toasted Martin’s potato bun. Each burger is built on technique and timing, resulting in a flavor-packed, highly craveable, and authentically elevated take on the classic American burger.
  • The new For The Win in Summerlin will mirror the popular Los Angeles menu, offering a mouthwatering lineup of high-quality sandwiches, including the Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Grilled Cheese, and Veggie Burger.   • Enjoy the Wineaux Wednesday tasting series, a monthly community event designed to create awareness and wine exploration. Held September 16 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the September Wineaux Wednesday will be titled “Habla Vino?” celebrating Latin wines from Spain and Argentina. Available for $50 per person. Nom Wah

  • Weekend Brunch dim sum is available every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2p.m.

  • Nom Wah, New York City’s first and oldest dim sum restaurant, brings its rich legacy and celebrated Cantonese flavors to the west coast, marking a major milestone in the brand’s 105-year journey. The century-old Nom Wah is revered for its authentic, Cantonese-style dim sum, big flavors, and signature dumpling.
  • Nom Wah hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

 


Hawthorn Grill

  • Sunday Dinner Special – Served every Sunday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. for $75 per person. The August menu includes 14oz Prime Rib with beef jus and creamy mashed potatoes, sauteed mushrooms, and green beans.
  • Daily breakfast featuring elevated twists on classic breakfast dishes with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Served daily from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., the Hawthorn Grill Breakfast Menu includes:
    • Avocado Toast with Two Sunny Eggs, Smashed Avocado, Pico de Gallo, Frisee, Radish, Heirloom Tomato, and Lime Vinaigrette on Multigrain Bread.

  • Hawthorn Grill is currently open Sunday through Thursday, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Breakfast will be served daily from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Updated hours for the newly-renovated The Resort at Summerlin Pool
The newly-renovated resort pool is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The pool is free for hotel guests. For non-hotel guests, access is available for a nominal fee. Click here for details. The pool offers comfortable lounge chairs, towels and poolside dining at Waterside Café from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Daybed and Cabana Weekday specials are available for locals Monday through Friday. Daybeds with access for four people are $50. Cabanas with access for eight people are available for $100. Must have valid Nevada ID.

Poolside standard and grand cabanas are also available to guests visiting this season. A standard cabana includes a television, mini refrigerator with water, plush seating and a designated cocktail server. Each cabana offers space for a maximum of six guests.
